Die Band wurde von Lead-Sängerin Michela Vignoli und Lead-Gitarristen Thomas Strohmayer Ende 2010 gegründet. In der Urbesetzung mit Bassisten Luka Mikula und Drummerin Rebecca Raschun entstanden innerhalb kurzer Zeit denkwürdige an Dio und weitere oldschool Heavy Metal Legenden inspirierte Songs, die die Band nach wie vor prägen. 2012 wurde Rebecca für kurze Zeit von Roman Dissi ersetzt. Schließlich fand die Band eine stabile Neubesetzung mit Ernst Gumprecht an den Drums seit 2013 und Gernot Schwarz am Bass seit 2014. 2024 starten Grim Justice mit zwei neuen virtuosen Musikern durch: Vincent Weber an den Drums und Robert Hafner am Bass.

Im März 2015 veröffentlichten Grim Justice ihr erstes, selbstbetiteltes Studioalbum. Nach einer erfolgreichen Europa Tournee und mit neuen Songs im Gepäck releasten sie ihr zweites Album The Return of the Flame im Mai 2018. 2022 melden sich Grim Justice mit einer neuen Single und einem Videoclip sowie ihrem dritten Album Release Justice in the Night zurück, welches 2023 von Iron Shield Records als CD veröffentlicht wurde.

Grim Justices Lieder sind von 80er Heavy Metal und 70er Hard Rock Musik beeinflusst, vertreten jedoch eine eigenständige und unverwechselbare Linie. Alle Veröffentlichungen sind von der Band selbst produziert.

The band was founded by lead-singer Michela Vignoli and lead-guitarist Thomas Strohmayer at the end of the year 2010. In the original lineup with bass-player Luka Mikula and drummer Rebecca Raschun an astonishing number of memorable songs, inspired by traditional Heavy Metal legends like Dio, were written. This style still shape the band's characteristic sound. In 2012, Rebecca was briefly replaced by Roman Dissi. Finally, the band found long-term replacements when drummer Ernst Gumprecht joined the band in 2013, and bass-player Gernot Schwarz in 2014. In 2024 two new virtuoso musicians joined Grim Justice: Vincent Weber at the drums and Robert Hafner at the bass.

Grim Justice published their first self-titled studio album in March 2015. After their successful first Europe tour and with new songs in their backpack, the band released the second album The Return of the Flame in May 2018. In 2022 Grim Justice are back with a new single and video clip as well as their third album Justice in the Night released on CD in 2023 under the banner of Iron Shield Records.

Grim Justice's distinct and mind-blowing songs are inspired by 80ies Heavy Metal and 70ies Hard Rock. All their releases are produced by the band members themselves.
